Thailand Songkran Music Festivals 2023!
Thailand has become a top destination for music festivals featuring artists from around the world. Probably the biggest time of year for music festivals in Thailand is during Songkran in April. Songkran is the Thailand New Year celebration that can last up to a week or more and is known for large scale water throwing. It can be very difficult to stay dry in the cities during this time, but the water can also be refreshing (if not ice cold!) as it tends to be the hottest time of the year.
The past few years Songkran music festivals have been low scale or non-existent due to the situation. This years volume and quality of events seem to be making up for lost time! Many awesome music festivals to choose from all around the Kingdom. Many nightclubs will also hold larger than normal multi-day events to celebrate Songkran. It is safe to say Thailand is back and maybe better than before!
